Annie Uetz is the Director for the Polk County, Iowa Behavioral Health and Disability Services department and CEO of the Iowa District 5 Disability Access Point which is part of the ADRC Network. Prior to becoming Director, she worked as a program planner for case management, crisis services and treatment services since 2001. She holds an undergraduate degree in social work from University of Northern Iowa and a Master of Public Administration from Drake University. She is a member of the Polk County Criminal Justice Coordinating Council where she works closely with the judicial system, law enforcement, EMS, and Polk County Jail. Annie is also Chair of the Homeward Board of Directors which is the Continuum of Care for the unhoused in Polk County. For many years, Annie was the lead staff for the Safety and Justice Challenge, the Stepping Up Initiative and the Data Driven Justice Initiative. She has presented both nationally and statewide on various topics.
