My name is Erik Sievers, and I have spent my entire life living, learning, and working in Southeastern Minnesota.

I have a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Social Work as well as a Master’s in Business Administration. I believe both the values of how I was raised and through my education have helped me lead in a way that is with dignity, respect and a strong value around partnerships and collaboration.

Currently, I am the Executive Director of Hiawatha Valley Mental Health Center, a mid-sized CCBHC in Southeastern Minnesota.  The early part of my career was as a Child Protection Social Worker in several counties in Southeastern Minnesota then an In-Home and Clinic Based Therapist. Since 2005, I have been in various leadership roles in the mental health field. I have been in my current role as Executive Director of Hiawatha Valley Mental Health Center since 2019.
